JESUS SAID "IT IS FINISHED" PART 2

 John 19: 30

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
“It is finished”
Τετέλεσται (Tetelestai)
MEANS: end, finish, fulfill, and accomplish.

What has been accomplish, finished, ended or fulfilled?

2. TO DEFEAT SATAN WHO HAS THE POWER OVER DEATH.

Hebrews 2: 14, ERV
These children are people with physical bodies. So Jesus himself became like them and had the same experiences they have. Jesus did this so that, by dying, he could destroy the one who has the power of death—the devil.

1 Corinthians 15: 53-55, NIV

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

55 “O[n] Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”

1 John 3: 8-9, NIV
8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whoever has been born of God (born Again) does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and              he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

1 John 5: 18, NIV
We know that anyone born of God (BORN AGAIN) does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them (BORN AGAIN SPIRIT).

The fall of man death on his spirit, if we believed in our hearts and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior we are born again in the spirit instantly, and the devil cannot harm our born again spirit because its been shield by the blood of Jesus.

Jesus already destroy the devil.

1. To bring fulfillment in Jerusalem and also to the entire human race on those who believed in Him.

Luke 9: 30-31, NIV

30 Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. 

31 They spoke about his departure,[a] which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem.

Isaiah 53: 4-5 NIV

4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 52: 14 NIV
Just as there were many who were appalled at him[c]—    his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness—

His appearance was so disfigured that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness... how great is Your Love O Jesus.

By His blood we are forgiven.

By His wounds we are know healed.

All kinds of diseases, sickness, viruses etc. just look unto Jesus.

Genesis 2: 9 

The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

In the middle of the garden how many trees?

Two, absolutely right! You don't have to be a scholar or genius  to figured these out. 

In the beginning of man.

Without eating the forbidden fruit.

a. Man are innocent.
b. Man are responsible.
c. Man are obedience.
d. Man has free will.

Genesis 3: 1-7, NIV

1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” 

2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 

3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”  (Man is responsible) 

4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 

5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (The innocence of man) 

6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

• Curiosity of man        
• Free will of man.

SIN WAS BORN.             

7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Questions:

1. What if man choose to eat the tree of life instead the tree of knowledge knowing good and evil?
Man will stay in the garden forever.
And the tree of knowledge of good and evil will wipe out on the garden.

2. Does God knows that man will fall? And choose to eat the forbidden fruit?

YES!

The good news is.
Christ died already before the foundation of the world. 
Revelation 13: 8, NLT
And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered before the world was made.[a]

Glory and Honor belong to our God. 

GOD is already demonstrated His love to all of us. He already given us His Son Jesus Christ through His blood He redeemed us. Hallelujah! 

Two kinds of children in the Bible:

1. The children of God.

2. The children of the Devil.

How to become a children of God or a child of God?

A.   JUST OPENLY DECLARE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART. 

Romans 10: 9-10 NLT

9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

B.   AND GOD WILL JOIN WITH OUR SPIRIT TO AFFIRM THAT WE ARE GOD’S CHILDREN. 

Romans 8: 16, NLT

For His Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.

C.   JUST BELIEVE IN HIM AND ACCEPT HIM JESUS CHRIST AS A SON OF GOD AND SAVIOR. 

John 1: 12 NIV

But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.
